This is Our Everything

Six years ago, filmmaker Frederick Subei approached me, seeking assistance to connect with the Guajajara People. His vision was to capture the valiant efforts of the Guajajara warriors who were tirelessly safeguarding their forest. I facilitated his journey to Sonia Guajajara’s village, who is now the head of Brazil’s Indigenous People’s Ministry. There, I had the profound experience of witnessing firsthand the daunting task of defending their territories without external support. It was an honor to be at the genesis of this now-completed production. A hearty congratulations to Frederick, but more importantly, a resounding salute to the Guajajara warriors. Persist in your noble mission!
